Travel League Evaluation Registration

Players need to be registered for their evaluation age group PRIOR to attending. There is a $20 registration fee. This fee is NOT refundable. If player is placed on a team, parents will receive notification to complete player registration for the assigned team and season.

What happens if my athlete cannot make it to the travel ball evaluation date?
 
It is imperative to understand that travel ball evaluations are very time and labor intensive. All
evaluators, while very knowledgeable in baseball concepts, are still volunteers
and are giving the AYBA the gift of their time. With this in mind, we are unable to have a
secondary tryout date.  
 
Any player who misses the scheduled Alexandria Baseball tryout will not be guaranteed
placement on a team. Additionally, missing tryouts may impact the player’s evaluation score
and may affect team placement. The extent of this impact cannot be determined until all tryout
scores and evaluations have been reviewed. By choosing to miss tryouts, the player and family 
acknowledge and accept the risk that this decision may result in placement on a lower team or
no team at all.
Travel League Team Registration

Once evaluations are completed, the Travel Selection Committee creates teams for the upcoming season. Once teams are completed and coaches notified, rosters will be posted on this website.

Parents will receive an email listing the team their player has been assigned to. That email will contain the link needed to complete the season registration. Parents will need to add/confirm player information, sign appropriate waivers and pay the travel fee for the age group/team. 

*All fees must be paid in full before 1/1/2027 or players may not participate in preseason practices.
