Alexandria Youth Baseball Association is a 501c non-profit that relies on sponsors, donors and various fundraising event to keep our programs thriving and facilities up to date. Each age group completes different fundraising activities. This page contains details on all fundraising activities regardless of age division. Please check back often for updates on different events.
AYBA Raffle
Alexandria Area High School baseball players sell raffle tickets as their primary fundraiser. If you are interested in donating an item to the raffle or have questions about this event please contact Judy Backhaus at leearnold9094@gmail.com

Day of Giving Phone Donations
New in 2025 the Alexandria Cardinal baseball teams will be participating in a Day of Giving phone drive. Saturday, April 5th players will meet and contact people on an individual basis asking them to donate to our baseball programs. NO PURCHASES NECESSARY. If you are contacted we hope you accept the call to support Alexandria Baseball!
Pasta Feed
Angelina's Restaurant & Bar hosts a pasta feed fundraiser for the AYBA programs. Tuesday, April 1st - 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM. Options for dine-in or take out available.
Grocery Bagging at Elden's
Baseball players volunteer their time to bag groceries at Elden's in Alexandria. Free will donations are collected at each date.

Diamond Wags and Wash Car Wash
The AYBA travel teams will be working with Diamond Waves and Wags to host car wash events in summer 2025. The money raised at the car wash events will help offset various program expenses.
Coupon Card Sales
AYBA in-house leagues partner with Leading Edge Fundraising to sell discount/coupon cards every spring. Cards will be handed out at in-house evaluations on Saturday, April 26th. If you are not present at evaluations, please contact secretary@alexyouthbaseball.com to arrange pickup of fundraising materials.

Bingo and Meat Raffle
AYBA hosts a bingo night and meat raffle at Copper Trail Brewing, the first Friday evening November-April. Funds from bingo and meat raffle go directly to our capital campaign.
Apparel Sales
Currently, each program offers a different online store to purchase either Alexandria Cardinal or AYBA baseball apparel. It is our goal to get all programs under one vendor. Until that time happens, you can find current apparel store offerings on our website. We partner with organizations that provide AYBA or Alexandria Cardinal Baseball teams with a portion of the sales; funds that go back into the programs in the form of equipment, uniforms or dollars.
**Please note, some of the apparel stores are only open for a set period of time.
