In-House Leagues
OVERVIEW
In-house leagues focus on teaching the fundamentals of baseball. The competitive nature will grow in this league as players progress in age. Participants are given the opportunity to learn the game, participate in team sports and develop their skills. The time commitment is less than that required in the Travel League and gives a greater number of youth the opportunity to play. Leagues are divided by player grades. The Northwoods League is for players in grades 2-3. The Minor League is for players in grades 4-5. The Major League is for players in grades 6-8.
IN-HOUSE REGISTRATION
Registration for in-house leagues will occur in the spring. AYBA will announce when registration is open for all in-house leagues. Parents will register their player(s) via this website. Players need to be registered in advance to attend league evaluations. Evaluations are held every year and are a way for players to be placed on a team. No players are cut from in-house evaluations or teams.
