American Legion Post 87
overview
Alexandria Legion Post 87 is sponsored by Zimny Insurance. Alexandria Legion Post 87 is also known as the Senior Legion team. This team consists of graduated seniors as well as players who will be seniors the following year.
Coaches have the discretion to move players from particular grade levels to different teams as needed. This is adjusted on a year to year basis.
A "super senior" is only an option if roster spots are available. A "super senior" will be used as a pitcher only.
Legion season begins after the conclusion of the High School season. Teams play 30-35 games each summer.
Registration for legion baseball begins in March.
